Join the U.S. Army Military District of Washington as we celebrate the return of Spirit of America, the highly visual, live-action U.S. Army show taking place September 12 and 13 at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition, two other Spirit of America live-action U.S. Army shows will take place September 19 and 20 at the Times Union Center, Albany, New York and September 26 and 27 at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Watch as Soldiers bring history to life with this year’s Spirit of America performance. Told by today’s Soldiers, Spirit of America captures the true stories of those who have answered the call to duty for our nation and pays tribute to the sacrifices and triumphs of the American Soldier.

During the show, Soldiers in historical uniforms re-enact key moments in the U.S. Army and American history. The reenactments include battle scenes with short periods of simulated gunfire and performances by the Army's elite ceremonial units. This is the first time Spirit of America will be presented in the state of North Carolina.

The show features the U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own" and Soldiers from the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), the oldest active-duty infantry unit in the Army. Elements of The Old Guard include The U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, the Caisson Platoon, the Commander-in-Chief's Guard, the Continental Color Guard and the U.S. Army Drill Team.

These shows are open to the general public and admission is FREE, however, a ticket is needed to attend. Information about ticketing can be found at www.soa.mdw.army.mil/ticketing.
