Fort Leavenworth July 4th Celebration Event

Before the Salute to the Union, Fort Leavenworth honored all Vietnam veterans in attendance with a recognition ceremony. The ceremony began with a Vietnam veteran color guard from the members of the George Edward White VFW Post 56 and Vietnam Veterans of America (Leavenworth KS). Right to left 1. Lynn Rolf Americal Division 71-72 scout platoon leader 2. Staff Sergeant Terry Bender Women's Army Corps Personnel Vietnam 73-75. 3. SP4 Mike Hadock 5th Mech Division 1968 cavalry scout 4. Ron Sheldon Americal Division 68-70 infantry platoon leader, in addition a three war veteran including Desert Storm and Iraq.
