A 24-year career army officer, Colonel Gadson's life is a portrait of courage. In May 2007, an improvised explosive device (IED) attack cost him both his legs, and normal use of his right arm and hand. Despite this, Gadson remains ...on active duty and continues to inspire us all with his message of courage, perseverance, determination and teamwork. Gadson took command of Fort Belvoir on June 25, 2012.
