Members of the Berkshire VVA Chapter 65 together with cadets from the 181st Seabee Battalion of U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps based in Pittsfield helped fill 100 sand bags with saw dust to be used on the bunker that will be displayed on the float. The Berkshire County James E. Callahan Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 65 Float received the "Grand Marshal" award from the Pittsfield July 4th Parade Committee. The float included vets from Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran nurse.
