Asian/Pacific American Veterans Share Their Experiences in Vietnam

In recognition of Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month, this video highlights the wartime experiences of three Asian/Pacific Americans. Chief Master Sergeant Stanley Y. Fernandez, USAF (Ret) - Filipino-Japanese; Colonel Allan F. P. Cruz, USMC (Ret) - Chamorro; and Judge Thomas K. Kaulukukui, Jr. - Hawaiian-Chinese. These men served the United States with honor and distinction during the Vietnam War. Their unique narratives highlight their service and sacrifice during a difficult time in our Nation's history, and testify to their courage and patriotism. The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration joins the Nation in honoring the sacrifices and celebrating the accomplishments of all Asian/Pacific Americans serving in the United States military.
