I continue to present to Vietnam veterans lapel pins and thank them for their service wherever I meet them. On November 2, 2022, I will make presentations at a Republican Women's luncheon. They are honoring Vietnam veterans & have invited me to do the honors. I always tell the recipients about the DOD Commemorative. You have allowed our Veterans to feel the warmth & gratitude of America.

I am the source for stock for many of our 90 DAR chapters across the state. i will close out the other events as my stock goes down. Many of the events are not known yet but will happen through out the summer and fall. It is part of our mission.

As part of the quarterly Salem VA Town Hall agenda, planners advertised with flyers and social media that a Vietnam Lapel Pinning ceremony would be conducted to recognize and honor all Vietnam-era veterans and to award the lapel pin to those who qualified. Five pins (three Army and 2 Navy) were awarded in ceremony.
