I continue to present to Vietnam veterans lapel pins and thank them for their service wherever I meet them. On November 2, 2022, I will make presentations at a Republican Women's luncheon. They are honoring Vietnam veterans & have invited me to do the honors. I always tell the recipients about the DOD Commemorative. You have allowed our Veterans to feel the warmth & gratitude of America.

o June 14th (or nearest weekday) of each year, the Department hosts a “Veterans Appreciation Day”. June 14 is the Army Birthday and Flag day. We invite our department's members, family members and local veterans to an event including a Keynote Speaker, Presentations by Leadership and an exposition hall with military / veteran – related agencies and organizations. This year we plan to recognize/honor our Vietnam Veterans during during that event.
