I continue to present to Vietnam veterans lapel pins and thank them for their service wherever I meet them. On November 2, 2022, I will make presentations at a Republican Women's luncheon. They are honoring Vietnam veterans & have invited me to do the honors. I always tell the recipients about the DOD Commemorative. You have allowed our Veterans to feel the warmth & gratitude of America.

When a Vietnam Veteran is awarded a Quilt of Valor, a Lapel Pin is also presented to the veteran. I anticipate hosting several ceremonies between now and the end of the Commemorative. I am nearly out pins, proclamations, and Fact Sheets and would appreciate whatever you can provide.

40th Jesse E Hill Flag Memorial presented by Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans An inspirational display of over 65,000 American Flags in the shape and size of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, DC. Each flag represents an American killed or a POW/MIA during the Vietnam War. Also, an honorable display of over 5,000 flags in our Star of Honor Memorial for those brave soldiers lost in the Iraq & Afghanistan Wars and GWOT. Each flag is planted in the ground by someone who cares. Please join us in honoring these brave American soldiers on this patriotic weekend. Day 1 Friday, 6/6: Volunteers are needed to help plant flags starting at 9:00 AM. Day 2 Saturday, 6/7: Free Concert & Day of Reflection Bands starting at 12:00 Noon. Day 3 Sunday, 6/5: Motorcycle Rally - Starting at 12:00 noon at American Legion 960 1537 Woodbourne Road Levittown Pa 19057 Ceremonies to follow arrival at the park. Pennsylvania Department of Military and Affairs Outreach Van 12-3 PM Repatriation Ceremony - Starting at 1:00 PM. Volunteers needed to help pull flags after the ceremony. We are going to award quilts of valor at this dedication Also on May 15 the Honor Flight is hosting a fund raising golf outing where we will also be awarding quilts of valor
