I continue to present to Vietnam veterans lapel pins and thank them for their service wherever I meet them. On November 2, 2022, I will make presentations at a Republican Women's luncheon. They are honoring Vietnam veterans & have invited me to do the honors. I always tell the recipients about the DOD Commemorative. You have allowed our Veterans to feel the warmth & gratitude of America.

When a Vietnam Veteran is awarded a Quilt of Valor, a Lapel Pin is also presented to the veteran. I anticipate hosting several ceremonies between now and the end of the Commemorative. I am nearly out pins, proclamations, and Fact Sheets and would appreciate whatever you can provide.

This is our 4th annual Military History Muster, and Vietnam Veterans and their families are honored throughout the event as they enter the grounds.

Vet to Vet TN is collaborating with Dr. Emily Hager, TN's Faith-based and community initiative to identify and recognize Vietnam Veterans and their families during the 2025 Memorial Day weekend. We are hoping to have all 95 counties in the state of TN to cooperate with this event.

This is the mobile Vietnam Wall. Mary Chesney Chapter will be there to honor vets who come to visit the Wall. Note: We pin Veterans on an ongoing basis as well so any remaining will be used for that purpose.

Memorial Day Ceremony at the Field of Heroes

This group meets every Saturday Morning in Loveland for breakfast in a local restaurant. Usually attended by more than 175-200 area veterans. 79 Vietnam War Era veterans were presented lapel pins. one surviving spouse received a lapel pin and certificate of honor.

The 98 names of Lorain County's casualties were read, each followed by the ringing of a bell. The commemoration was explained. Eight veterans who had not yet received their pins were called to the front and were presented with a pin, a certificate, presidential proclamations, and a gift bag. Then who had received their pin at a previous were called to join their fellow veterans to be recognized. All received an American flag and photos were taken.
