I continue to present to Vietnam veterans lapel pins and thank them for their service wherever I meet them. On November 2, 2022, I will make presentations at a Republican Women's luncheon. They are honoring Vietnam veterans & have invited me to do the honors. I always tell the recipients about the DOD Commemorative. You have allowed our Veterans to feel the warmth & gratitude of America.

THE VIETNAM VETERANS WILL EACH RECEIVE A QUILT OF VALOR IN RECOGNITION AND APPRECIATION OF THEIR MILITARY SERVICE. WE HOST THIS EVENT EVERY TWO MONTHS AS WE HAVE REQUESTS AND QOVS READY. AT THE TIME OF THE QOV PRESENTATION, WE HAVE BEEN PRESENTING THE VIETNAM LAPEL PIN, HOWEVER I HAVE USED MY FIRST 50 AND NEED TO REPLACE MY STOCK.

Our members would like to present lapel pins to previously unrecognized Vietnam era veterans on an impromptu basis. We would like 20 more pins so that we have enough to provide one or two to every member who would like to do this.

When a Vietnam Veteran is awarded a Quilt of Valor, a Lapel Pin is also presented to the veteran. I anticipate hosting several ceremonies between now and the end of the Commemorative. I am nearly out pins, proclamations, and Fact Sheets and would appreciate whatever you can provide.

I am not sure. I (Kyle Hunter) work for a company that specializes in ballistic glass and school safety. We travel the country going to SWAT and tactical shows where I have met a ton of Vietnam veterans. The show I listed above is the next one I'm attending. Also, we do interviews with Vietnam veterans on a monthly basis at minimum. Our most recent being with John Stryker Meyer. We would like to get enough pins for both of us to keep with us and hand out to veterans we meet along the way. I received around 20 at a booth during the air and water show in Chicago, and they were all gone within a couple of weeks. So they will be going to a lot of vets over time. I know the show is in several months, but as I said above, we are constantly interviewing Vietnam era veterans for our platform. My employer is also full of veterans and they would love to have some of the pins to be able to keep some with them. My boss gave a Vietnam veteran one of the pins at the airport last week and he broke down into tears. That moment alone has made him really want to hand out more of the pins with the proper information provided.

University of Charleston has graciously allowed us to use the Erma Byrd Gallery to call to the stage Veterans who have served during the Vietnam War for a special pinning ceremony where they will be honored and thanked for their service in front of their families and friends.
