How Vietnam Veterans and Their Families Will Be Honored:
• Vietnam Veteran Lapel Pin Presentation – Eligible veterans will be formally presented with the Vietnam Veteran Lapel Pin, a lasting symbol of national gratitude.
• Recognition of Service – Each veteran will receive a personal acknowledgment for their service, including remarks from local leaders, military representatives, or veteran advocates.
• Family Appreciation – Spouses, caregivers, and families will also be recognized for their unwavering support, with special acknowledgments or certificates of appreciation.
• Moment of Reflection – A moment of silence or tribute will be observed to honor fallen and missing-in-action (MIA) service members.
• Community Support & Resources – Representatives from local veteran organizations and support services will be available to provide information on benefits, assistance programs, and camaraderie-building opportunities.
This event is an opportunity for the community to come together, honor, and thank our Vietnam veterans for their courage, resilience, and dedication to our nation.
