12:00 AM - 12:00 AM
NNJ AUSA will be joined by Rutgers University ROTC Alumni, the New Jersey Chapter of the Special Forces Association and Cadets from ROTC programs of Rutgers University, Seton Hall University, and Princeton University.
This year, we have partnered with The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration—a national 50th anniversary commemoration, Commemorative Partner Program. This evening, we will be thanking and honoring our Vietnam veterans and their families for their service, valor, and sacrifice to our country.
Our special guests for the evening include guest speakers:
Major General Ed Chrystal, Commander of the US Army’s Vietnam War Commemoration
Erica Jeffries, Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army – NJ
Colleen Osborne, Deputy National Security Law Attorney for the Military Intelligence Readiness Command.
Funds raised at this event supports the NNJ AUSA COL Stanley Lapidow Scholarship. COL Stanley L. Lapidow Scholarship recognizes Army ROTC Cadets that have participated in leadership events throughout their academic year and exemplify leadership. COL Lapidow's scholarship honors his service to our nation. 2024 marks our 10th annual COL Stanley Lapidow Scholarship NNJ AUSA Leadership Dinner and we would not have been able to do it without your support!
The New Jersey Chapter of the Special Forces Association will present the Special Forces Association's medal Special Forces (SFA) Cadet Award of Excellence and the Special Forces Association's medal (Award of Excellence).
"An ideal Army leader has strong intellect, physical presence, professional competence, moral character and serves as a role model." (ADRP 6-22)
